OUR MOTIVATION
Ethos: Ethics.
Pathos: Empathy.
Logos: Logic.
Aristotle, the ancient Greek Philosopher, posited that the successful Society must comply with these three essential elements of the soul. Ethos is Ethics, such as we find in Nature. Pathos is Empathy, such as we must hold for the Diversity of Life. And Logos is Logic. We are a group of progressive professionals who find great inspiration in this elegantly simple concept, and we seek to inform the public through this website of the importance of implementing such virtues in our world.
Environmentalist and multiculturalist movements have responded to the global crises of climate change and poverty with ever-growing political, economic, social, and even militaristic fury. Additionally, corporate and political scandals in the USA over the last few decades have shocked the conscience of the world. From outraged public responses to Watergate, Union Carbide, and the Savings and Loan crises of the 1970s and 1980s, to the highly publicized corporate scandals of the last two decades - including Whitewater, Enron, AOL Time Warner, WorldCom, Halliburton, Bechtel, WalMart, Chevron-Texaco, Philip Morris, General Motors, and now Blackwater - the citizens of the world have become ever more cynical, if not hostile, towards corporate culture.
We seek to provide you with the basic knowledge to implement sustainable, ecological practices and ethnic, gender, age, and ability diversity and empowerment in your workplaces and in our world.
